Finishing:
Heart
edging: With matching yarn, attach yarn at top edge of one heart piece (next to
loop opening) and sc evenly around edge of heart, working 3 sc in point. Fasten
off and weave in all ends. Hold straight edges of scarf pieces tog (to join them
at center back) and whipstitch together so seam lies flat.
If necessary,
lightly block scarf between damp towels so hearts lie flat.
Leave to dry
in a place with good air circulation.
To wear, fold
center portion of scarf in half lengthwise, place scarf around neck and insert
one heart through ribbed loop section.
