MY FAVE DISHCLOTH      

Size: Approx. 8" square
Materials: 1 ball Lily Sugar n' Cream WW cotton (or Peaches n' Cream)
Size G hook, yarn needle for weaving in ends
Gauge: 13 dc = 4" 
 
Dishcloth
Row 1: Ch 23, dc in third ch from hook, dc in ea ch across (22 dc)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in ea dc across (22 sc)
Row 3: Ch 2, turn, dc in ea sc across (22 dc)
Rep Rows 2 and 3 five times.
Border:
Rnd 1: Ch 1, turn, sc evenly around entire dishcloth, working 3 sc in ea corner, join with sl st.
Rnd 2: Ch 2, turn, hdc in ea sc around, working 3 hdc in ea corner, join with sl st.
Rnd 3: DO NOT TURN, but ch 1 and work slip st loosely in back loop only of ea hdc around, join with sl st. If hanging loop is desired, ch 6 at last corner before final join with sl st.
