SIMPLE BEADED SCRUNCHIE

Materials:

Few yards Lt. worsted wt. cotton or cotton-blend yam

(sample shown in Tahki Cotton Classic)

Size F hook

Pony beads or other beads with hole large enough for hook to fit through Ponytail elastic ring

Terms: chain (ch), single crochet (sc), slip stitch (sl st), yarn over (yo)

Attach yam to ponytail elastic by inserting hook into center of elastic ring, loop yam over hook and draw through, yo and draw through loop on hook, tighten.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, single crochet evenly over ponytail elastic until ring is completely covered, join with slip stitch to beginning sc.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in first sc, ch 10, insert hook through bead, draw loop of yam through bead, ch 1 to fasten, ch 10, single crochet into next sc, *sc in next sc, ch 10, insert hook through bead, draw loop of yam through, ch 1 to fasten, ch 10, single crochet in next sc, repeat from * around, join with sl st. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
