yds. thin carry-along fine eyelash

Size
13 (9 mm) needles, or size needed to achieve gauge
Tapestry needle
Gauge: 20 sts = 5" in feather & fan pattern on size 13 (9 mm)
needles
Stitches/Terms: bind off (BO), cast on (CO), knit (K), knit 2
together (K2tog), purl (P), repeat (rep), stitch (st), yarn over (yo)
Pattern notes: Use row counter to help keep track of rows. Be sure
to pick up both strands of yarn as you work each stitch. Work
somewhat loosely to make it easier to work knit 2 together on Row 3.
Scarf
Holding 1 strand of each yarn together as one, cast on 20 sts.
Knit 2
rows.
Begin
pattern:
Row 1:
Knit across (20 sts)
Row 2:
Purl across.
Row 3:
K1, (K2tog) 3 times, (yo, K1) 6 times, (K2tog) 3 times, K1.
Row 4:
Knit across.
Repeat
Rows 1-4 until scarf measures desired length, or until yarn is
almost gone (reserving enough for last 2 rows and bind off row.)
Final
2 rows: Knit across. Bind off loosely and weave in tails.
