Finishing
To form hood, fold scarf in half with right sides together. With
crochet hook,
attach yarn at point of fold, slip st loosely through both
thicknesses for 12 to form
back seam. Fasten off and weave in tails. Turn hood right-side
out.
Optional tassel:
Wind yarn around an 8 measure 12 times. With separate 16
length of yarn, tie
strands together at one end of wrap, then cut strands at
opposite end. With
separate 24 length of yarn, wind yarn around tassel about 1
below top to secure
all strands together, then bury tail into center of tassel. Trim
tassel ends to
desired length. Attach tassel to back point of hood.
