Cowl is worked seamlessly in one piece from lower edge to top.

Pattern stitch forms a different texture on each side so cowl is considered reversible.

Cast on and bind off somewhat loosely to allow for stretch over head.

CO 90 loosely. Join for circular knitting, being careful that stitches are not twisted. Place marker to note beginning of round.

Rnd 2: K.

Rnd 3: P.

Begin pattern:

Rnd 4: *K2, p1, rep from * around.

Rnd 5: *Yo, p2, slip the yo over the 2 purl sts, p1, rep from * around.

Rep Rnds 4-5 until piece measures 4” from cast-on edge, ending with Rnd 4.

Bind off in k2, p1 pattern.

Cut yarn and weave in all tails.
