together with Ritratto (mohair/viscose/polyamid) by S. Charles Collezione

Pair of size 15 (10 mm) needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Tapestry needle

Gauge: 2 sts = 1 in. in stockinette stitch with bulky mohair on size 15 (10 mm)

Pattern notes:

Scarf is worked in two pieces from ends to center back neck. Pieces are joined

with either 3-needle bind-off or by weaving with Kitchener stitch.

Work somewhat loosely to make it easier to work K2tog.

Special stitches:

3-needle bind-off: Place stitches from one piece on one needle, and stitches

from second piece on a second needle. Holding scarf pieces right sides together

and using a third needle, bind off stitches by inserting needle through one stitch

on front needle and one stitch on back needle at same time, binding off as usual

across row.

Terms/Abbreviations: beginning (beg), bind off (BO), cast on (CO), knit (k), knit

two together (k2tog), loop (lp), pass slipped stitch over (psso), place marker

(pm), purl (p), purl two together (p2tog), repeat (rep), skip (sk), slip (sl), stitch (st),
