Hat is
worked in one piece in a flat rectangle shape, which is folded in

Circular needle is necessary to work the technique of sliding
stitches to the right and knitting across without turning on every

Crochet edging is worked around rectangle. After folding piece in
half, side seams are finished with slip stitch crochet. Two crochet
chains are added to upper corners and tied together to form top of
hat.
