"FUR" TRIMMED GLOVES

Scarf pattern.) CROCHET VERSION FOR KNIT GLOVE CUFF Materials: 1 pair commercially-knit gloves
1 ball eyelash-yarn (similar to Fun Fur)
Small amount sport-weight yarn to match glove
Size D and H hooks Sewing needle &
thread (for fabric, fleece or suede glove cuff)
With size D hook and sport-weight, poke crochet hook through top edge of glove
cuff approx. 1/4" from edge, and single crochet evenly around cuff (sample
worked on 30 single crochet). Join and fasten off sport-weight. Change to
size H hook and join eyelash yarn. Sc in each sc around, join with slip
stitch. Ch 1, sc around, join with slip stitch. Rep last round for
2-1/2" or desired length. Fasten off, weave in ends. Fold cuff
over top of glove.
CROCHET VERSION FOR FABRIC GLOVE CUFF This cuff is worked separately, then attached to a fabric, fleece or suede glove
where it would be difficult to insert a small crochet hook to make the
foundation round: With eyelash yarn and size H hook, ch 31 and join into ring. Ch 1, sc in
ea ch around, join with slip stitch. Ch 1, sc in ea sc around. Rep
last round until cuff measures 2-1/2" or desired length. Join sport-weight
yarn and change to smaller hook (approx. size D). Cut eyelash yarn, leaving
5" end for weaving in. Ch 1, sc around, join with slip stitch. Rep
last round 3 times, join and fasten off. Weave in ends. With sewing
needle and thread, tack sport-weight portion of cuff to inside top of glove.
Fold cuff over outside of glove.
